El Fútbol Club Barcelona hará su debut en el torneo de la Champions League este jueves enfrentando al Newcastle de Inglaterra.
El club catalán viene de golear al Valencia en su partido de liga con un marcador de 6 a 0 con doblete de Raphinha, Fermín López y de Robert Lewandowski, y se mostraron cómo esa maquina futbolística que el año pasado los llevo a semifinales de la Champions en las que perdieron contra el Inter de Milán.
Por otro lado el Newcastle llega sin su mayor estrella Alexander Isak el cual se fue vendido al Liverpool en el pase de traspasos que finalizó recientemente, y vienen de ganarle al Wolves en la Premier League por marcador de 1 a 0.
Estos equipos se han enfrentado 4 veces en las historia de la competencia con un récord de 3 victorias para el conjunto blaugrana y 1 de parte del club inglés, siendo el último encuentro un 2 a 0 a favor del Barcelona en la temporada 2002, 2003.
