Wendy Guevara, Paola Suárez y Karina Torres, mejor conocidas como Las Perdidas, fueron elegidas para ser las anfitrionas del Halloween oficial en México de la película Wicked for Good.
El anuncio lo hicieron nada menos que Ariana Grande y Cynthia Erivo a través de la cuenta oficial de la distribuidora, sorprendiendo a las tres influencers con una invitación directa desde el mágico mundo de Oz.
“¡Hola, Wendy, Paola y Karina! Escuchamos que podrían estar un poco perdidas en algún lugar de Oz”, dice Ariana Grande entre risas en el video, mientras Cynthia Erivo añade: “Estamos organizando la fiesta de Halloween más mágica de México: La fiesta de disfraces mágicos de Wicked. ¿Y adivinen quiénes serán las anfitrionas? ¡Ustedes!”. El evento se celebrará el 30 de octubre en la Ciudad de México y promete convertirse en uno de los más esperados de la temporada.
La celebración llega como parte de la campaña de promoción de Wicked for Good, la esperada secuela que continúa la historia de Glinda y Elphaba, en esta nueva entrega, los fans regresarán a Oz, pero desde una mirada más profunda y empática que cuestiona los conceptos de “bien” y “mal”, mostrando a Elphaba como una mujer valiente que se atreve a desafiar las normas impuestas por el sistema mágico.
La historia, que combina amistad, poder, política y un toque de magia, incluirá canciones icónicas como “Defying Gravity” y “For Good”, himnos que han marcado a generaciones, con “Las Perdidas” al frente de esta fiesta mágica, el evento promete una noche llena de brillo, humor y mucha actitud, fiel al espíritu irreverente y encantador de Oz.
