A quince días de haber sido citado su personal, el nuevo Hospital General de Zona 36 San Alejandro del IMSS en Puebla continúa sin atender a derechohabientes, pese a que se había anunciado su apertura para el 1 de octubre, mientras tanto, médicos y administrativos permanecen sin realizar actividades, limitándose a asistir a cursos de inducción y registrar su entrada diaria.
Reportes informan que en el cambio de turno de las 14:00 horas, se constató el ingreso y salida de trabajadores por la calle 27 Norte, bajo la supervisión de personal de seguridad que revisa sus pertenencias, el inmueble, que debía sustituir al hospital colapsado por el sismo de 2017, permanece cerrado al público sin ofrecer atención médica.
Fuentes del IMSS señalaron que Mariana Elena López de la Vega, secretaria general del Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores del Seguro Social en Puebla, y la delegada María Magdalena Tinajero convocaron al personal reubicado en municipios como Tehuacán y Teziutlán para regresar al hospital, asegurando que la inauguración era inminente, sin embargo, a su llegada, los trabajadores fueron informados de que el nosocomio aún no estaba listo.
Según trascendió, la apertura se retrasó por problemas de infraestructura, entre ellos goteras y fallas en el equipamiento médico, mientras tanto, los empleados permanecen en espera de instrucciones, y los derechohabientes siguen sin acceso a los servicios que el IMSS prometió restablecer en el nuevo hospital.
