El secretario de Salud de Puebla, Carlos Alberto Oliver Pacheco, informó que el estado prestó 100 mil dosis de vacunas contra el sarampión a Chihuahua para atender la emergencia que enfrenta esa entidad, a nivel local, aseguró que no se ha registrado ningún caso gracias al blindaje epidemiológico implementado.
Durante su visita al Congreso del Estado, donde participó en la reactivación del Consejo Contra las Adicciones, el funcionario señaló que en Puebla se mantiene el esquema de vacunación completo para la población, lo que garantiza prevención ante posibles brotes.
Oliver Pacheco resaltó la coordinación entre autoridades estatales y federales como una muestra de solidaridad y cooperación en materia de salud pública, además, indicó que Puebla cuenta con suficientes vacunas contra la influenza de cara a la temporada invernal, subrayando que la vacunación es gratuita y accesible a toda la población, independientemente de su derechohabiencia.
El secretario recordó que uno de los compromisos del gobierno estatal es fortalecer la prevención en salud, en este sentido, mencionó la estrategia para reducir el consumo de refrescos, vinculado al sobrepeso y la hipertensión, y defendió la aplicación de “impuestos saludables” a estas bebidas, aun cuando existan demandas por parte de las empresas.
